Hey peoples it’s been awhile since I have posted, and I kind of missed it. However, alot has happened since the last post, so I thought I would give y’all an update.
I got to spend more time with Daniel at the Willamettans, as always it was enjoyable and I didn’t want it to end. Unfortunately, the pool was closed, the clubhouse was getting remodeled, and the weather was not the best. One good thing though, the hot tube was still open, so at least we were able to “soak our old bones” as they say.

However, we didn’t spend all our time at the club. We also visited Oregon Axe to try our hand at throwing some axes. I have been there before, but Daniel had not. A good time was had by all and Daniel was a pro in no time.

Additionally, I got another tattoo and while Rex was doing it, I was already planning additional tattoos. I now have three in total and will be getting more for sure.

As most of you know I don’t work for the mortuary any longer and in my case that is a good thing. I don’t need or want to work in that kind of environment any longer. So, I found a new job that actually paid more and I really enjoyed. However, in November they eliminated my position and here I am unemployed again. Uffta!!!!

At this time I am currently looking for work to survive. I’m concentrating on Bluejet Hosting (which I own) and a division called Bluejet Web (which I own). They don’t bring in enough to live on yet, so I have to supplement my income, until I can build them up enough. With that said, if you know anybody looking for web hosting / web site or blog services, send them to the perspective websites, I will be more than happy to help them out.
I did actually find a few sides gigs called Outlier and Babel Audio, they at least bring in a little income to help. Here is a referral link for Outlier if you are interested for yourself and I will get credit as well. Babel Audio, is actually kind of fun and since I have a podcast already, it’s “right up my alley” as they say. If you are interested in Babel for yourself contact me with the email address you will use to sign up with and I will send you a referral link. In this economy we all need to help each other out as much as possible and I will get credit for referring you.
My son Bryson, had his first year scan from the thyroid cancer recently and it came back clean. I was so relieved to hear that. He is back to work now and living his life. As my friend Daniel says, “He doesn’t need his dad anymore”. And as harsh as that sounds, it’s true. We raise our kids to be independent and have their own lives and navigate this world the best and most productive way they can, then when they do, it’s kind of bitter sweet. One one hand you’re glad they are doing well, but on the other hand you as a parent are heartbroken that they don’t need you anymore. It’s an adjustment and I am getting used to it. One good thing is, I am no longer tied to this area and have time to find out things that I enjoy doing and discover myself again.

I do have some travel plans in the future, should time and money allow. I want to go to Colorado sometime in January to see Daniel and possibly my friend Andy on the way up to see my parents this summer. Who knows, I may even ride my motorcycle on that trip!
I think that’s about all for right now. I have some projects to finish for Outlier. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and 2026 brings all that you wish for.
