  2. I offer my sincerest sympathy – but also best wishes – at this time. I have just completed my divorce: amicably, but somewhat welcome. The extremely mixed feelings of this happening at this time leave me very ambivalent about Christmas, likely forevermore. Since she has “thrown me away”, I’m not interested in celebrating anything with her, but she wants to. Jeeeezz. She’s conflating “in” and “out”.

    Our 2 adult kids are trying to figure this out also, but consider it weird.
