I also find social nudity is a gentle, effective way of encouraging yourself to stay in shape, think about that 2nd donut, be active & outdoirs, etc. All things that promote your health & wellbeing – and your mental state. Just look at these pictures: the men and women in them are enjoying the camaraderie!

Nonetheless, there can be insecure, dismissive, bullying, or improperly-acting jerks (as with the rest of society). In my experience, there are simply fewer of them in naked brotherhood.

AlvordSky is right, I certainly think about the Oreos I’m wearing ehen I see all of these ripped guys. And in the communal hot tub and the clothing optional beach, I’ve never seen or heard people yelling at each other in anger. Social nudity seems to release those tensions naturally. I will add that before 1990 I was in a constant state of unprovoked rage. I had an event that forced me to reprogram my personality. It’s amazing how nice the world is when you escape that mindset. For my last 37 years I have been blessed with opportunities for social and solitary nudity, and I think it stimulates a baseline endorphin flow that directly targets the rage receptor in the brain. Based on my experience the comraderie and smiles in all of these faces is not coincidental. Nudity gives peace.
