There will always be that dog that no dog will replace. It is the dog that will make you cry. This will happen even when it’s been gone for more years than it could have ever lived.

Oh, God, yes. I will forever have a stitch in my heart for our found-on-doorstep, lab-dobie mix. He lived with us for 15yr – quite long for a larger dog, then COPD took him. Travel, trail, cuddle, play, emotional support buddy. Damn, I miss him. I dearly hope we gave him the best life possible after getting dumped in the neighborhood. I am still angry that some uncaring people did this to him.
