Long story short, many years ago we sent our son Bryson to Elite Trucking School and now he is working for a great company and loves it.

Fast forward many years, and I no longer have a wife and not much of a life either. I have been rebuilding my life that last 4 years and am starting over at 54. I just want to be able to work, support myself, live in peace, ride my motorcycle and of course be naked any chance I get.

I was laid off for 3 months in the last part of 2025 and the first part of 2026 and was brought back. Which killed any savings I had. I searched for work the entire time to no avail.

Now, there are talks of layoffs once more and I can’t do that again. Elite now offers weekend classes that they didn’t before and I just want a job I can count on.

So, I am posting my gofund me out of somewhat desperation, hope that I can get a CDL and some employment stability. Any help would be appreciated and if you can’t, I understand.
